During the January 2009 meeting someone mentioned some trails riding areas in Stafford County and Quantico. Where are these trails? If they are on private land, who do I need permission form to ride there? I'm looking for some places to plink around on my triasls bike.

John,
I can't be sure which trails you were told about, but the Family Off-Road Riders of Prince William County (FORPWC) maintain their own motocross track, short endurocross section and modest trail system in Nokesville. My family and I belong. The riding area is very handy and I think you could find a little exercise there for your trials bike. The club is very well run and the members are tremendous. FORPWC has a website that can give you a little more info. Hope this helps.
